Set as collaboration between Individuals and Societies & Design, under the Multimedia Production Unit, student create a 5 minutes educational video. Students choose their own topics from farming, fishing, rural economies, buddhism, geology and changing demographics. After some initial investigation and research prior to the trip, the students then have the week to gather information. They do this by Interviewing locals as a primary source of information. Interview occur for 3 days between 2 villages and students acquire as much 1st hand knowledge as possible. This 1st hand experience with locals in temples, helping with the fall harvest or learning to fish is at the core of Chadwick’s experiential learning. The Experiential week and project of this kind makes Chadwick a special place teachers and students learn together.
